There is great pleasure to be found in simplicity. The old adage that less is more applies to everything from decluttering your house, calming the monkey mind, or packing efficiently for your next adventure. And while our muesli packages were born to provide simple, whole (HOLOS: the Ancient Greek word holo ὅλος, meaning "whole" ) nutrition, we won’t dismiss that part of the spice of life is investing time into trying out new things. In light of this truth, we’ve put together four ways to get creative with the overnight muesli you already love so much. Don’t worry we kept it simple.
TOPPER RECIPE FOR YOUR CHAI HOLOS
Ingredients:
- 4 Tbsp canned pumpkin puree
- 2 Tbsp plant-based yogurt
- 180 ml oat milk
- 6 pecans
Method:
- Add one Chai HOLOS muesli to a HOLOS jar.
- Add pumpkin and yogurt.
- Fill the jar to the crease (above the fill line where the threading begins) with oat milk, seal and shake.
- Let it refrigerate overnight.
- Add crunchy pecans on top and enjoy.
TOPPER RECIPE FOR YOUR VANILLA HOLOS
Ingredients:
- 125 ml brewed coffee
- 75 ml oat milk
Method:
- Brew an extra 125ml of coffee in the morning or use any leftover you might have.
- Pour one Vanilla HOLOS muesli into your HOLOS jar, add coffee, and pour oat milk to the fill line.
- Put the lid on your jar, shake, and refrigerate overnight.
*Feeling extra creative? Add a big dollop of vanilla yogurt on top in the am and/or a pinch of cinnamon.
TOPPER RECIPE FOR YOUR PEANUTS + MAPLE HOLOS
Ingredients:
- 200 ml coconut milk
- 2 Tbsp peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp raisins
- ⅓ banana
Method:
- Pour one Peanuts + Maple HOLOS muesli into a HOLOS jar and fill with coconut milk to the line and stir.
- Add peanut butter and raisins.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Add banana on top and enjoy.
TOPPER RECIPE FOR YOUR COCOA HOLOS
Ingredients:
- 200 ml oat milk
- ¼ cup frozen cherries
- 2 Tbsp coconut flakes
Method:
- Empty one Cocoa HOLOS muesli into a HOLOS jar and fill with oat milk to fill the line, put the lid on and shake.
- Add frozen cherries to the top.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Top with coconut flakes.
All of these recipes stay delicious for up to 2 days after making it, when kept in the refrigerator. So if you really wanna be efficient, you can save time by making 2 or 3 at once. Enjoy!
